Midnight Commander - ending ftp session

Hi.

If I connect to hosting's FTP server to transfer some website files using mc like
Code:
cd ftp://user:pass@url
should I then end an FTP session in any specific way? Of "F10" > "Yes" will be fine?

In Filezilla there's an "end session" function which seems to be necessary for correct exiting.

I type in quit

Try help to see if the server reports common commands.

Guess it could be some oddity of the ftp client you have. I replicated this and quit worked for me.

I only get this with "quit".
Do you enter an FTP as "cd ftp://..."?

I can't access the link for a few days.

I see that I didn't use the cd command. I'll try to replicate this tonight again.
