metacity titlebar disappear with composite enabled

After enabling composite in xorg.conf, the metacity titlebar disappears on all windows when nvidia driver (nvidia geforce3 ti 500) is loaded. There is no problem when i use the defualt nv drivers but system becomes too slow. I have the latest nvidia drivers installed from livna repo:
nvidia-glx-1.0.7174-0.lvn.1.3
kernel-module-nvidia-2.6.11-1.27_FC3-1.0.7174-0.lvn.1.3

My system is completely updated through yum as of 6/9/05 along with the latest kernel for fedora core 3.

Here is my xorg.conf with the problem:
Notes:
1. when I moved the Section "Extensions" up top before Section "ServerLayout", X display crashed.
2. system log shows: nvidia-config-display: Parse error on line X (line where composite is enabled) of section Extensions in file /etc/X11/xorg.conf

# Option "XkbVariant" "nodeadkeys"

# If you'd like to switch the positions of your capslock and
