Gaim 2.00 beta1 released, but no audio chat support. I tried the windows version.
For linux, I think trillian+crossover office (wine) is much better than gaim
Is it so difficult to support audio and video chat on linux? or what?

I think the answer still appears to be "or what" unfortunately. It's stopping me making the switch totally because I've trained all my non PC family across the world to use MSN and I'm not going through that again with another prog!

For the msn protocol I use Mercury and for yahoo! I use gyachi. Both support webcam, but the voice part is difficult.
