MEncoder audio codec problems

UPDATE.........

Well, took me long enough. Almost 6 months but finally got around to playing with my dvd drive again.

I got rid of the juker that I had. A generic 6x drive. Install a Pioneer 16x DVD ROM and now I don't get any errors and I am able to play an entire movie. YEAH!!!!!! Now I will try mencoder.

Just wanted to let everyone know what happened and to say Thanks again to Acid Kewpie and MasterC for all the help.
