Media Players

Anybody know of a decent media player for Linux??? I don't really like the player that comes with KDE. I'm using Mandrake 9.2 FYI.

MPlayer or Xine are popular.

You can also use Totem, which is a front-end for xine.

i use xine - but i find it can be troublesome with some avi's?! - the sound is delayed by about 1 sec, so i also have mplayer which seems to sort the problem - xmms is great! the only thing i have real problems with is real one (no pun)! it wont work, no matter what i try, it installs, works once and then wont work again (is that what real one means?)
