In an attempt to play media files with Amarok and xine player the following error was given:
For Amarok: xine machine claims it cannot play mp3
Some media could not be loaded(not playable)
For Xine Player: -xine engine error-
There is no demuxer plugin available to handle "file:usr/share/xine/skins/xine-ui_logo.mpv". Usuallythis means that the format was not recognized.
Please is there any configuration that one need to do to correct this errors. I have already yum update for both amarok and xine. I am presently using xine-ui version 0.99.5.
Hello,
in order to be able to play mp3's you'll need to install the gstreamer-plugins-ugly package. I not really sure of this as I'm not a fedora user.
