do you have man ntp.conf?

i don't and would like to know if anyone else does before i see if mandrake just forgot it or it's not up to date so version 4 isn't in the man pages.

thanks and cheers.

Nope, I don't have it. I'm assuming you mean a man entry for ntp.conf, right? If so then I'm "missing" that as well. What is ntp.conf anyway?

Maybe you didnt install that documentation. Try the Install Software menu item, and then search for the name in each rpm's file list.

ntp.conf is the way that you would set up your system to sync itself up to an atomic click. it is the network time protocol. the man pages are to help you set it up.

checked the rpm files and their is nothing in there for it.

thanks.

I don't have any man paged for anything ntp related. I got my server setup to get time from three different universities but now I'm having problems getting all my boxes on my system to get time off my server.
