Maybe some of you read music.

Hi:
In case you do, and want to confide a friend a piece of music or ask in a forum where is that excerpt from, I present you nted, a discovery I made yesterday. It's fully GNU Linux based and exceptionably handy and fast! For those who do not know it, it is a score write or music editor. It is by the same author as the obsolete noteedit and is open source and free. In case somebody answers, and I am thinking of someone I know who won't fail making a joke, why not grab a microphone a record the tune, you are right. But reading and writing music is more fun.

EDIT: I reckon this seems advertising but it is not.

You might get a better response if you posted it in the Linux Software forum rather than the non-*NIX forums. NTed is included in or packaged for several distributions.
