Maya Linux on Nividia, refresh problem

I am running lunix (RH9) with Nividia Gforce FX5200 card, MSI Neo K8. When i switch view port using space bar, view ports are not refreshing.

I have used maya before with nvidia (game) series chipsets, and had that and many other problems. An easy work around the screen not refreshing is to just work out of the perspective view, and when you need to switch hold the space bar click the hotbox directly in the middle and change your view. Another fix is to buy a different video card. I currently would suggest (on a budget) the nvidia 5700 series or above. Like the nVidia Geforce 5700 or 5800 fx with 128mb. The difference in the 128mb and the 256mb is VERY little! Only benchmarks show it, you would never see it when rendering. Not even when using mental ray. Hope this helps in some way.
