Tried to install OSS sound drivers, wouldn't compile, removed them, now when I try to run Amarok, I get this:

do whatever you absolutely possibly can to install as many codecs as you can get your hands on - then recompile amarok - it is too beautiful a piece of software to go without. Don't forget your w32codecs, xine codecs, gstreamer codecs - everything possible.
