manual rpm remove

I have a partially installed spamassassin-2.43-2.i386.rpm. what is the rpm command to list all of the files provided by this package? what I would like to do is go ahead and delete each one of the individually, and then see if I can't re-install it and have it go to completion.

a rpm -e spamassassin-2.43-2 nets:

root /tmp:rpm -e spamassassin-2.43-2
service spamassassin does not support chkconfig
error: %preun(spamassassin-2.43-2) scriptlet failed, exit status 1

so I think manually is the only way to go. lemme know if there is a better way ;-) thanks.
