I'm having trouble getting automounting to work as I'd like it to on a Mandriva 2007 system running KDE 3.5.4. When I insert a CD, and KDE is active, I get an undesirable popup asking me what I want to do with the CD (eg open in a new window, do nothing, ...).

But i still don't know how to make static mountpoints. This should be configured in hal...
