I has constant problems when installing packages on Mandriva 2006 (also had them with Mandrake 10.1).
I always get the 'bad signature' messages, then I always get 'installation failed' messages.
When installation fails, the program is actually installed but theres always glitches and they don't operate properly.
Does any one else have this problem? Is it the distro, or the computer, or the rpm or the user?
I don't want to but I am considering switching distros.
Sure wish someone would offer some help. So far the best suggestion I have gotten is that I should try a differant mirror. Well, that option got old after about a dozen differant mirrors.

Did you read my post in one of your threads (this one). You need to regularly update your urpmi sources so that they have a package list thats up to date.

I had this problem with freshly installed urpmi's. Is it nessessary to update freshly installed urpmi's?

If you are having problems with certain mirrors, try others. The most reliable ones are the French and German sites.
