Mandrake GUI not loading

I just installed Mandrake 10 on my IBM 390e laptop. The install went well except for the grafics card and monitor. I chose what I thought was best. I have it set up to dual boot with ME. When I boot mandrake it takes me to a text login, which I do. But then I don't know how to get the GUI up and running. I'm sure theres a command but I don't know it. Please help.

startx
will start up your x server, and return any error messages as to why it did not work. If you have an nvidia card you will have to configure it manually. These forums are full of howtos for just that problem.
