Mandrake 9.2 with kDE 3.1, want to move to KDE 3.2.1
Does anyone know the easiest way to change KDE 3.1 to 3.2.1 in mandrake 9.2? Will I have to delete the old KDE or something? Really new on this path, can someone lead me the way?

On my way, I download all must-have sources from net and then re-install mdk-9.2(back-up your important files first!), and only install those packages needed to compile source. Neither kde-3.1 nor qt in mdk cdroms is installed. First compile qt-3.3.1, arts, kdelibs, kdebase in order and you can then arbitrarily compile the rest of the kde sources. You can find more informations about how to install kde at http://developer.kde.org/build/ and http://www.kde.org/info/requirements/3.2.php
