Mandrake 9.1 vs. Redhat 9
Howdy,
I've installed Mandrake 9.1 on my desktop PC, while I have Redhat 9.0 on my laptop. I have something strange going on on my desktop PC. I use KDE on both machine, and when I try to watch a movie with MPlayer on the desktop PC I get /dev/dsp busy. I found out that Arts locks up the sound card, and that only "KDE AWARE" apps will work properly. The question is now is there a difference between Mandrake 9.1 and Redhat 9? I'm asking because I have no problems on the laptop with Redhat 9 . Thanks in advance.. |
