Mandrake 9.1 + nvidia drivers

Well, I installed Mandrake 9.1

This isn't the first time I've had problems with my initial install. I always seem to. (all three times I've tried linux)

Anyway, I installed mandrake 9.1 and then shut down X, installed the newest NVidia drivers, and then rebooted.

Well, before that, Armagetron ran at 2fps. Now it doesn't even begin to initialize. What happened? Did I do something wrong? Did I forget something? Someone please help. Thanks.

I also apologize if this has been covered, I haven't searched or anything, I was hoping for a fast solution. I'll search now, since no one seems to be saying much of anything at this moment.

Did you edit the XFree86 config file as instructed?
