41JokerNAM LQ Newbie Registered: Apr 2003 Location: Longview, TX Distribution: Mandriva Posts: 5 Rep:	Mandrake 9.1 Locks I upgraded to Mandrake 9.1 from 9.0 last week, but have been having a problem. Any time I try to run a program that takes a lot of CPU overhead, the system hard-locks on me. The thing it's done this the most on is Distributed.net (RC5-64, latest version client), but it'll also do it if you just run an empty do:while script in a command line. Also, it did it one day when I wasn't even using the system; looked like it was just doing some basic auto-management process.
