Question Mandrake 9.1 Kernel Source Code?

I am running Mandrake 9.1 on my Dell Inspiron 7500 laptop and had some issues with it locking up in suspend mode, so I downloaded the source for kernel 2.4.21 from kernel.org, copied over the config from /boot that I was currently using to keep the same settings initially. I then modified a couple of the power management settings, compiled, and got the power management stuff working great. However, in doing this, I am forfeiting the modifications that the Mandrake developers made to the 2.4.21 kernel. One of these modifications is supermount (allows cdrom to be auto mounted/unmounted when a cd is inserted/ejected). If anyone knows how to get the Mandrake modified kernel source, how to disable suspend/hibernate without recompiling the kernel, or how to enable supermount (although there may be other things I'm missing out on that were modified in the Mandrake version of the kernel), I would love to hear your ideas. Thanks for your time/help.

Supermount how-to:

As for the kernel source for mandrake check on the mandrake FTP mirror (cooker) in the source directory. I'm unable to go to FTP's from work, otherwise I'd hunt down an actual file for you.

Cool

The source code for Mandrake 9.1 is on disk 3 of the Download Edition but is not installed by default. You can load it through Mandrake Control Centre, do a search for "kernel-source".
