Mandrake 9.1 and Qt

I recently installed Mandrake 9.1 and almost everything is working great. I've updated my Nvidia drivers and configured the Look'n'Feel of KDE to suit my needs. The one thing I can't get right is my IRC client. I didn't like the default IRC client provided with the mandrake install so I went looking on the web and found KvIRC. From the screenshots it looks really great and similar to MIRC which I'm used to using. I couldn't find a Mandrake RPM build for it so I downloaded the source. When I do a ./configure it stops on the check for the Qt libraries. It says I need 2.2 or greater. From what I read it seems like most of KDE is based on Qt. I've looked through the list of RPMs and can't find anything to install the Qt libraries. I downloaded the TrollTech source for Qt but wanted to know if this was the right way.

Does anyone know how I should go about installing this? Is there a better way?

Thanks!

Config: Mandrake 9.1, KDE 3.1

There should be a package called qt-devel (or similar) on your mdk cd which includes the files you need to compile Qt apps. Using the files from Trolltech will probably work too, but the Mandrake package should be easier to use/install.
