Mandrake 8.2 - Help!
 

I am having problesm with mandrake 8.2. I am new to linux and would really love for someone to help me. The problem is when i try to start x, i get a 'Fatal IO error 104 (connection reset by peer'. Can anyone help me?

Could you copy the whole error message (console output you get when running startx)?

I found the problem, thank you though. My font server was not automactically starting. I had to /etc/rc.d/init.d/xfs on. heh thanks
