Mandrake 8.1 ISO Problems
 

I'm having problems installing Mandrake 8.1 from my downloaded ISOs. I did check the MD5 checksums, they were OK. Then I extracted them to different folders, and put them on CD-Rs using my HP CD-Writer software (it can't do ISOs). I was able to make a boot disk, but when it starts installation, it says the CD is not an installation CD. I'm going to try Roxio's CD creator, and make the CD's directly from the ISO's. Hopefully that will work, but if anyone has any suggestions, it would be nice. Thanks in advance.

yeah.. i would suggest making them directly from the iso's too.. that should work out fine for you.

Well, I tried that, and it seems to be working now. Thanks for the help!:)
