Mandrake 10.1 PHP Binary Path

I realize this is a seemingly simple question, but I cant seem to find the actual php binary on the default php install provided with Mandrake 10.1. I looked in all the usual places such as /usr/bin/php or /usr/local/bin/php or even /usr/local/php/bin/php. I also tried using phpinfo() since I couldnt remember if it gave the binary path. Unless I overlooked it, all I see is environment paths. I dont need the configs, just the binary. Anyone have any pointers, thanks?

Try 'whereis php'

And I notice you didn't mention /bin in "the usual places". My guess is this is where you'll find it.

Have you tried

whereis -b php

That should give the path to the binary.

I tried that before as well, results are/were: php: /etc/php.d /etc/php.ini /usr/lib/php

The /usr/lib/php directory continues with extensions/ and then mysql and postgresql files.
