making reply email including these characters ">>>>" in previous contents
 
Hi all

now I'm using outlook in window

can I reply email like below one which create ">" characters automatically
if I would use mutt or any other text-based email-client in linux?

Your question is vague, it's not clear if you want to do this in Outlook or want recommendations for linux mail clients that can do this.

If you're asking how to do this in Outlook you don't mention which version you are using.

In Outlook 2016:

File > Options > Mail

Then look for "Replies and forwards" section.

Change the "When replying to a message" and "When forwarding a message" drop-downs to "Prefix each line of the original message"

In the box below it you can chose the character to use. It defaults to >
