Making KDE pause on shutdown finish playing wav file

I am looking for a way to have KDE play the entire wav file I have chosen for Exit KDE. It starts playing but KDE shutdowns before it is completed. Would someone know where I could insert a pause or make it run some timed pausing application.

Thank you for any help.

I've noticed the same behavior. In Slackware the startup/shutdown scripts are in /etc/rc.d/
look on your box and find the script for runlevel 1 or 6
there might be something you can uncomment (IE...delete the #) that will delay KDE's exit to the CLI.......
