problems installing glabels

I am trying to install glabels on my machine and I am running into some problems:
Mandrake 10.0 with Gnome and KDE installed
Trying to install - glabels-0.4.6

It appears that I have:
gnome-libs-1.4.2-7mdk
gtk+2.0-2.2.4-9mdk
libxml1-1.8.17-6mdk
libxml2-2.6.6-1mdk
gnome-print-0.37-5mdk
libgdk-pixbuf2-0.22.0-2mdk
gdk-pixbuf-loaders-0.22.0-2mdk

So I think I have all the dependcies loaded.

I extracted glabels to /usr/lib/ ,
entered the folder /usr/lib/glabels-0.4.6/ ,
and ran ./configure ,
and I got:
loading cache ./config.cache
checking for a BSD compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking whether make sets ${MAKE}... yes
checking for working aclocal... found
checking for working autoconf... found
checking for working automake... found
checking for working autoheader... found
checking for working makeinfo... found
checking whether to enable maintainer-specific portions of Makefiles... no
checking for gnome-config... no
checking for gnomeConf.sh file in /usr/local/lib... not found
configure: error: Could not find the gnomeConf.sh file that is generated by gnome-libs install

I'm not sure how to fix this problem. Can anyone help?

Thanks
Sam
