Making a png of your webcam /single frame)


no need of wfwebcam or other apps. mplayer does not work well for that either.

The best of the best is here:

ffmpeg -vframes 1  -s 640x480 -f video4linux2 -i /dev/video0   "output_single_frame.png"
Simple, working, and powerful.
