makedepend

Hello,

What is the rpm file name for makedepend in Fedora Core 5? I've searched 5 FC5 CDs, could not find it.

Thank you.

Hello Jim,

Are you talking about
make depend
If it is so, you have it with your make utility. It is just an argument to
"make"
and hence it becomes "make depend"

Bye

I realize that Jim's post is from some time ago. But I decided to put this in to help others having the same problem since I spent the evening searching for the rpm that supports the
'makedepend'.

makedepend for FC5 is found in the imake-1.0.1-3.i386 rpm.

Install from the command line:
yum install imake-1.0.1-3.i386

or from the package installer, whichever you like....

Cheers,
cc
