make modules_install error

I'm trying to recompile my kernel. I've done it successfully twice today and now I get an error when trying to do a 'make modules_install':

Quote:
ln: when making multiple links, last argument must be a directory
make: *** [_modinst_] Error 1
Anyone have any ideas?
