major firefox problem -need help

I have been using the preview version of Firefox. Yesterday, I finally got around installing the final version of the browser. All worked well until I decided to change the theme....close the browser and now this is the message I get

Code:
Error launching browser window: No XBL binding for the browser

even after I deleted the old install and loaded it again.....

any help in figuring this one out would be greatly appreciated....

try just renaming the .phoenix directory in your home directory and see if that gets you back

it should be ./mozilla/firefox that you may need to rename.

I deleted the .firefox-1.0 (directory that I installed it into) twice and reinstalled it in different dir and still the same problem.

It must be a file placed in a different dir.....

You have to delete the Mozilla folder when you do a complete
install or the new version of Ffox will see your old profile and
give the same error. The Mozilla folder should be in the same
place you put Ffox. If for some reason you don't want to delete
the Mozilla folder you need to create a new profile.
I am running Ffox 1.0 on MDK 10.

Hope this helps
