Question "MailScanner" wrong owner (expected mail but is root)

Debian (Sarge) + MailScanner + Sendmail + SpamAssassin + ClamAv

have you guys seen this error when you try to kick off MailScanner?

Output from /etc/init.d/mailscanner restart ..

/etc/init.d/mailscanner: directory /var/lock/subsys/MailScanner: wrong owner (expected mail but is root)

Your Help is appreciated
