Hi I would like to know how I can configure sendmail in my linux server so that I can have the mails recieved at my server be directed to one of my regular email ids ... I also want to create an email id in my server .... I use suse linux ... PLs guide me
OK .. I will try to explain what I am looking for ... When someone visits my website and clicks the mailto:me@myserver.com then I want that email to be redirected to my yahoo accnt.
Btw I dont know how to set up the sendmail as well ... Can you put some light on that as well.
after adding this line, run newaliases command.
you should get something like:
/etc/mail/aliases: 1 aliases, longest 98 bytes, 4035 bytes total
as output..
I tried doing it .. but the mail bounced back ... I tried to send the email to user@myserver.com and it said mail delivery failed ... I am not sure if my sendmail is configured properly ... Could you tell me how this could be done
