Madplay in slave mode???


Please I need help..I can't use Madplay in slave mode(in backend)..
I developpe an MP3 player with QT. I should comminucate whith Madplay(QProcess) to play, pause, stop...when I click on the play,stop buttons ...
How can I write in the stdin of Madplay????

Code:
QStringList args;

QProcess mplay=new Qprocess();
args<< "-v";  
//args << "-slave"; //?
mplay.start("madplay",args);

//....
mplay.write("pause\n"); //?????
