Macromedia Flash Firefox Plugin

Hey all,

I use Shockwave Flash 7.0 in Debian Firefox. For the most part it's been working beautifully, but there's one thing that's been bothering me. On occasion, there's text that just plain doesn't show up. A few sites in particular are Roadrunner's homepage and Purevolume's Flash player [I would post the URLs, but I don't have enough posts].

I've done some searching around and found a few rumours that it may be that I'm missing some required fonts; however, I'm not quite sure. Text on most flash sites works fine. Does anybody know how I might fix this? If it is fonts that are the problem, what am I missing? I do use TrueType fonts on xfs.

Thanks!

I'm also having this problem

It works on my other linux machine, but not this one.
Could it have something to do with the microsoft fonts?

I've run into rumours of something of the sort on my searchings.

I use true type fonts on XFS (I copied all my fonts from XP); is it possible that Firefox doesn't know where to find them? I'm not exactly sure how that works, though I would almost think that if the font server knows where the fonts are, then all X programs should too.
