Unhappy machine booting straight to xp after installing fedora core 5


I am a new linux user and I have installed fedora care 5on a separate hard disk on my computer, but after installation and restart the machine boots straight to xp not giving choice of OS.

Please gimme a step by step guide coz i am a newbee

I have two hard drive - Maxtor 6K040L0 with xp
- WDC WD80 with fedora core 5

You will have to boot with FC Medium, and boot into the Rescue Enviroment.
There you'll have to setup GRUB.
So you'll need to know with
fdisk -l
how your hdd is setup.
Then you'll have to reinstall/or install grub into the MBR of you 1st HDD where I guess Windooze is
installed. After you've done that you will have the GRUB Bootloader that will give you the choice of which OS can boot.
