Mac


Is it possible to install mac software under linux (Suse 9.2).

doubtfull, two reasons.. mot mac programs rely on a closed system, the finder and aqua interface, second... macox X is based on a BSD kernel.. but if you had the source code from the program, porting it might be possible. The reverse... installing open source linux software on a macos X.3 machine is very possible, if you have the source, or can get a macos X binary.

oops... i forgot to mention.... while it isn't directly possible there is a program called 'MOL' that you should give a look into, it's basically a mac equivilent of vmware, it requires a working installation of macos however, but you can run your MAC os next to linux on a vt and switch back and forth the same way you switch virtual consoles and X
