M-audio Revo 7.1

hi all, im back on mandrake(mandriva LE2005), after XP froze on me and now will only boot to a black screen!!! i hate xp and am looking to stay on le2005 now but i have an issue with my sound card. I'm running the m-audio revolution 7.1 and was wondering what the best drivers are to run the card and to actually use the digital out feature like i did in windows? i've tried oss package but it sounds like crap and digital out not supported? In windows, i had a gui interface to select digital out, headphones etc, anything like that with linux?

I'd like to know how to enable digital out as well. I haven't been able to figure it out yet
