lynx and a proxy

i am trying to use lynx to access the web thrue an ssh connection.
lynx doesn't seems to work with a proxy... is there a way to get that working.

I also had the same problem with mandrake multinetwork firewall, the external interface wouldn't work because it had to go though a proxy.
May i be able to fix both problems?

you need to set the proxy on the lynx command line. "man lynx" for details of the right switches... --proxy --proxyuser and --proxypass i'd guess at.
