LX-Viewer can't get OpenDWG Linux Library files

I run Ubuntu 16.04.

The README file 'readme.txt' supplied in the download from Sourceforge.net goes into some detail about how you have to have the files ad2.a and ad3.a from the OpenDWG Linux Library files. How do you get these files. The OpenDWG site has nothing to download that I can see. I know that there was a Linux Questions Thread on this in 2011 but that didn't help me at all. Now, here we are in 2018. There must be a simple answer to this? I hope.

Thanks,
R.
