Lucid pulseaudi and alsa problems

Hi folks. I use idjc, a lot now. To let that record the mic, using jack, I find I have to reinstall pulseaudio.

To get sound out of Audiacity, and websites and the like i have reinstall esound.

This tolerable while we are in beta, just. but any ideas on how to solve it long term?

You are using a "Beta" release. So it is understood to be "unstable" and some things might not work as expected or wished.

"How to solve it long term" involves submitting a bug report to the developers, so they are aware of the bug, and then following up and contributing to, the resolution of the bug.

Most people here at LQ are not "Developers".
