Lubuntu 14.04.5 LTS blank screen during boot up on powerbook g4
 

hello

trying to install Lubuntu 14.04.5 LTS on a powerbook g4 17 inch screen

justing during boot up of the cd i see the Luguntu logo for a few minutes after that screen goes blank.

sounds like it could be a video driver issue. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seems

the nomodeset option is what is needed to keep a display screen going on through the boot process. But I don't own a mac so I can't swear to it.
