Lsongs and SuSE 9.0

I am running SuSE Linux 9.0 and have upgraded to KDE 3.3. I downloaded lsongs and lphoto (linspire products) and all other required rpms. I installed them all by rpm -Uvh *.rpm and everything installed fine. I now type lphoto and it starts and seems to run fine. I then try and type lsongs and halfway through loading I get the following error:

fd = open("/proc/sys/dev/cdrom/info","r")
IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/proc/sys/dev/cdrom/info'
Xine deleted

I looked in that directory and all I found was parport, raid, and rtc. How do I create this file and directory? Thanks for any help.

Andy B.
