lpq command do not display error for network printer managed by a Windows server

If there is an error when I print a document in either Windows or linux to the network printer managed by a Windows server, the Printer status GUI will display "Error - Printing" status on Windows but the lpq command (nor the printer status GUI) on FC6 linux do not display any error.
Please help.
I do not want to upgrade FC6 linux.
