lp with cups. Problems with centering image on paper

aight peeps,
I had to convert an xwd image to jpg using convert. When i try to print, i set -o landscape -o position=center -o scaling=100. For some reason, the image still shows on the lower left of the page and doesn't completely fill the page (the second part, i'm not so concerned about). I am concerned with the first part b/c a portion of the image appears to be cut off. I am going to check the resulting jpg after convert to make sure that command doesn't have anything to do with it. Has anyone else had this issue, and hwat was done to resolve it
Jason
