Unhappy Low battery logout in Fedora

Looking for a little help. I've installed Fedora Core2 on my notebook with out any problems (except for intel 2100 wireless problems, but thats a whole different story) but lately if my notebook is running on battery it will say "low battery 0% left" and log me out, even though the battery has a full charge on it and the icon in tool bar shows that. I've check all the power option and nothing is set to logout if low power, but even before that why is it detecting low battery when the charge is full. Anyone have any suggestions.
