Question Lost mouse functions in q3 with mandrake 9.1

I have been trying to get q3 to work in Mandrake 9.1 and have had nothing but problems the whole time. I finally got through all the problems in the begining and thought that everything was fine. Then out of the blue, i lost all my mouse movements in the game. I can shoot, zoom, and change weapon but cannot look. I have already deleted my config file and started a new one, made sure that free look was enabled in the setup, but still no mouse movement. Any one out there ever have this problem? Please, if any one has had this WIERD ass problem happen to them, or if you know of a config that maybe i have over looked, please lemme know. tnx
