Lost Linux access when I installed XP

Well, I lost my XP partition one day, so I reinstalled. I had Mandrake 9.0 on a second partition and I think it was using lilo as a boot manager. Now when I boot up it goes directly to XP. Is there anyway to recover from this?
Thanks,
Ben

Im not sure how to do it with mdk, but with red hat i can just get into rescue mode and reinstall grub.

the same principles may apply with mdk.

windass always overwrites the mbr, thats why you should always install linux last, but sometimes it is unavoidable.

Yeah, insert your Mandrake install cd, and type rescue at the prompt. Or even better, if you made a boot diskette, boot from that.

Then under Mandrake's Control Center, edit your bootloader settings. That should put Lilo/Grub (whatever bootloader you are using) back into the MBR.
