losing permissions on /home folder
 

Here is my problem, hopefully someone can help a newbie out...I just started using Mandrake 10.0 and I can log into my user account just fine, but after about 10-15 minutes of playing around, I can't open anything or run anything. I try to open my /home folder from the desktop and it tells me permissions are denied. I reboot in failsafe mode, and sure enough all the permissions for my home folder are gone. I reset them, and log back in, but 10-15 minutes later same problem. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Anything in your logs? And what do you mean by "playing around"? Any cron entries running that might be doing something funky?
