I've been looking high and low for a copy of Wine 0.9.1, or even 0.9.0. Preferably a debian package, but I'll take the source if necessary.
Actually, I'm hoping I won't need it, but I can't take the chance. A month or so back I tried upgrading from 0.9.1 to 0.9.5 and I found that it broke an app that's important to me. Moving back through the versions, I found that every one from 0.9.1.1 on was broken. So I reverted back to my original install and decided to wait a while.
I only later realized that I couldn't test newer releases without the old package to fall back on again, since there's no knowing when they'll get it fixed. But when I looked, 0.9.0 and 0.9.1 were long gone from the repository, and the only others I can find are at least a year old. It doesn't help that the debian package website has been down either. WineHQ doesn't seem to have them either, and no amount of Googling has turned up anything.
If I had realized it would be so hard to track down even such a relatively recent version, I would have saved it when I had a chance. Can anyone direct me to a available source?
Thank you very much. I backed up a step from your link and found the 0.9.1 version. Now at least I know I can recover if I have to. I'll be keeping this one bookmarked from now on.
I'd still prefer a .deb file if I can get one though. It's easier than building from source and they tend to be integrated with the system a little better. Perhaps I'm hoping for too much though.
