Question Looking For Virtual Audio Loopback Cable For X-Windows

I want to record audio output from Flash Player plugin on Firefox browser.

I use external Creative USB sound module. On the alsamixer setting, there are only 4 settings: Microphone (Volume), Microphone Capture (Volume), Microphone Gain (On/Off) and Speaker (Volume). There is no mixer or other settings.

I try to capture using Audacity, but all input device failed / flat/no signal at all.

How to capture audio using this USB sound module in X-Windows?
Is there any virtual audio loopback cable for X-Windows, similar to vsound?

Is the only possible solution: use a Real audio loopback cable?
Thank you.

do you have a "Mix" switch on the mixer ? thats what worked for me, however theres always the quick and dirty way to get it done. Use a cable to connect your computer's line out to its line in, and use Audacity to record from Line In.
